Presently, Dr. Hoffman is Co- Chairman of the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at Lake Forest Northwestern Hospital.

He is a retired member (36Years) of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

In 1992, he founded the University of Trading a school that introduced students to the career of futures and options trading. And, in 1999 co-authored the book, Pit Trading Do You Have The Right Stuff..

From 2000 to 2010, he was the President and partner at UOT Financial Services.

He earned a Doctoral Degree from the University of Illinois Champaign, Urbana 1978 (Specializing in Administration, Supervision & Improvement of Teacher Instruction.).

Dr. Hoffman was a two sport high school and college athlete, high school teacher, head coach, vice principal and summer school principal.

His experience enables him to continue mentor, counsel, and guide individuals who are struggling with personal, business and life decisions.
